both are really good, both are cheap and have great stat lines. . ive always been a fan of rockets, orks dont hit much when it comes to shooting but rockets when they do hit. hit hard. i usually like to take 3 rockets in my squads.. but thats me

agreed that works well to do the big shootas having 3 shots strength five, and it not being a heavy weapon.

I'm thinking of doing something similar to the comment below, but instead of grots, I will be using two mobs of 30 shoota boyz. That makes 4 mobs of 30 boyz each. 2 mobs of sluggas and 2 mobs of shootas. The shootas will act as a screen for the sluggas to march across the board. 3 rokkits per shoota squad to soften up any vehicles. This is all without even getting into HQ choices and any heavy choices.

the days of the grot screen are back i've been using them as a mobile 4+ cover for Green Tide and it works well

@MegaElite25 BOYZ BOYZ BOYZ no matter what any one else does. Three mobs of 30 are a power house and hard to stop. then a warboss with nobs. that is a good start then the rest is up to you. :)

@assym2006 i decided to go with rokits incase i run into anything heavy. but right now i have just slugga boyz for the charge. im considering having about 10 shootas for every 30 sluggas.

if you take shoota boyz put 20 in a open toped battel wagon. thats 40 shots coming frome one place not including the wepons on the wagon, and it side tracks the oponit from the boyz on the ground.

Ork Boyz are awesome! Yeah you loose a few here and there but the way I play (fully just assault) the enemy is always tied up trying to get through my boyz while my Nobs go round killing tanks and characters etc. Awesome - love Orks ;)
