He should be, he's a brilliant UI guy. So brilliant that he works for Google now and is s responsible for Android's Ice Cream Sandwich

Man. As of this post we've seen a lot of copy cats in pretty much every phone platform out now but none of them come close to the simplicity and functionality of webOS. Either the method to switch apps is clunky or the apps go into a state of hibernation rendering some functions useless, really wish I still had my Pre.

Releasing the source might actually get it back in the game. But probably not.
