  • Leviathan was the second Malmsteen song I've heard in my life...I immediately fell in love with it. Fire and Ice was the first, and that blew my mind to pieces.

And you're right perpetual61, Malmsteen never plays this live...he really should!

  • This is a treat you don't hear this enough.I love it I wish he would play this !

  • @Liturgyofwar Are you sure? Is the whole song in C minor?

  • beautiful composition. too bad his stuff doesn't sound old school anymore. he now sucks my swollen cock.

  • /watch?v=nNaeRVfOBXk

  • yngwie is the father of all shred u see today

  • When the riff kicks in at 43 seconds it turns into Al Dimeola...they both live in Miami; could they play together? Would they each need a whole stage, or could the bouncers and sound techs keep them in line?

  • No. 1 Yngwie instrumental.

Watch me play that as well :)

  • Fire And Ice will always be my favorite Malmsteen album. The songwriting is incredible, and Yngwie's solos are so perfect, and he plays some very interesting phrases. AND HIS TONE! This is my favorite guitar tone EVER! Goran Edman sounds Amazing as well.

  • @leoseanster lol, yea fire and ice blew me away first time i heard it to. He's such a great songwriter, it boggles my mine how one dude can be amazing at so many things.

  • @blackstar6938 Very well put! I saw Yngwie when he was with Steeler, Alcatrazz before Rising Force and no one knew what hit them back in 1983. He was the H-Bomb of guitars and he dropped it in Los Angeles, the people were stunned! Guitarists went back to re-learn guitar.

  • @ ibanezxz500, I couldn't agree with you more! Alot of American guitarist felt threatend when Yngwie first arrived on the scene in the early 80's. Because he wasn't bowing down to EVH and other established shredders of that period, he was considered arrogant. Arrogance and confidence are two different things, Yngwie was confident of his talent and went for it, never bowing to commercial air time.
