Les Paul created 'multi-tracking. Norman Petty was the first to use overdubbing.!

Buddy is a legend, not because he died tragically, but because he was FABULOUS and his songs will live long after we're all gone - Think It Over!

@nigelbruce232 Buddy did play country music, he even tried out for the Grand Ole Opry.....they told him no as they told Elvis no......In 1955 Buddy saw Elvis Presley live in Lubbock TX and asked Elvis to help him get started in Rock and Roll.....Elvis gave Buddy the phone number of Marty Robbins long time manager and the rest is history....Elvis was a big influence on Buddy Holly....google it if you don't believe me

@TheLuckyman1999 Buddy Holly wrote his own music and lyrics, invented overdubbing and was and is still covered by any band of consequence....no Buddy Holly = No Beatles. Elvis on his best day couldn't carry Buddy's guitar pick
