Oprah's Final Guest: Anthony Antoine's Campaign to be Guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show

This is the video that starts the campaign to be Oprah's final guest. I heard the news in media that Oprah would be announcing the end of her show yesterday 11/19/09 so I was glued to the television with my camera in hand today. And although it's not the most polished video, IT IS SINCERE and was my first thoughts after the announcement from Oprah happened. I didn't want to re-record it, although the zoom was close and I didn't realize it. I wanted to capture my first thoughts and load minutes later what I was feeling. If you listen closely, you'll hear the birth of the idea to be Oprah's Final Guest. Before recording this video, I didn't know what I was going to do but recording this video HELPED me figure it out.

Today, Oprah Winfrey announced that the last Oprah Winfrey Show will be in 2011/Season 25, and it is now my mission to be a guest on her show before it ends. This is the birth of my idea to be Oprah's final guest. Initially, "Balloon Boy" or other publicity stunts jumped in my mind but neither I or The Oprah Winfrey Show will go out like that. I am a father, son, brother, good friend, listener, story-teller, activist, poet, performer, independent recording artist and so much more to come. I tell my story best and encourage others to share their story. That's how we learn and grown. I learned this story-telling trait best from Oprah Winfrey. I've been a dedicated viewer since the beginning, September 08, 1986 and I firmly believe, THIS alone is reason enough to be a guest. So from today, until I sit next to Oprah on The Oprah Winfrey Show, call me "Oprah's Final Guest." That's my new name. That's my new title. Let's do this America. Let's do this world. The countdown begins...
