You know I would normally delete a nasty comment like this but wait...
Bring your Percussion performance degree to me and we'll do a percussion throw down. MUST Be proficient in Snare drum, timpani, ALL keyboard percussion, marching percussion, drum set, ALL accessory percussion, basic piano, theory and general music knowledge. I believe others on youtube would say you're WRONG as well. HAH

Well then why did you watch it then?

I swear, I could listen to you do open rolls all day XD Nice and clean through all of your improv.
I remember a song I played in high school that called for three rototoms, tuned in fourths, and the tuning changed chromatically as the song progressed. No idea what it's called anymore.
Anyways, some cool sounds you're getting out of that drum. Looking forward to watching more!

Thank you for your comments! That's too bad that you can't remember that piece. There was a piece in college that I was part of (unfortunately not the soloist) that uses 4 or so roto toms. Pitch changes galore.

Any idea what size that roto tom is? I've been looking into getting one and just love the tone it's got. Thanks.

This was a few years back but I believe it's a 12" drum. It may possibly be a 14" but I think it's 12"
