Whew, I had so much trouble getting this up tonight D: Sorry I didn't have any extra time to add my special segment, I'll just have to add this week's deal here! If I left something out of the video please comment and ask and I'll answer you! (the head in this video is an AngelRegion 'Glow in the Dark' head)

This weeks deal is Leekeworld's 'Blind Wig Event'! Pay $50 and get four random wigs(each wig is usually $27 and up!): http://www.leekeworld.com/En/default_leeke.asp

Also, if you have a very SPECIFIC questions for any of the Dollyholics please post them to our LJ community! We're still looking for any and all suggestions/questions, but sometimes detailed suggestions like "What do you think of Volks YoSD Puff?" are difficult to answer in our videos. Since we'd like to help answer everyone's questions just post there and we'll either answer you in a comment, or plan to post a video about it in the future! Here's a link to the LJ community: http://community.livejournal.com/dollyholics_lj/

  • Is this safe for ABS?

  • I want to do a re-paint on a vinyl doll I got a while back. She is one of the "Walk For the Cure" dolls by Dianna Effner. These dolls have painted eyes and I am not pleased with the job the manufacturing company did so want to re-do it. I have painted a lot of porcelain dolls including the eyes but have never done this on a vinyl doll before. I know that vinyl is different then resin so am wondering if I would use the same products or not to remove the original paint. Do you know? Thanks

  • @HeartLockk A faceup is just the paint on a doll's face. People remove the faceup if they want to change it.

  • I use just white aceton

  • You can actually use nailpolishremover that has NO aceton and NO color. They're a little more expensive, but to me it's way easier to get than brush cleaner. And it is not damaging for your doll as well.

  • Hey, another way you could remove without needing to wipe so vigorously is to get a bigger bottle of brush cleaner and soak the head in a cup. That's what I do with ispropyl, but in a measuring cup so I can pour it back in the bottle and use it again later because I am cheap. I have done it for like five face-ups already.

  • @despairedpheonix :O rlly? so what would one use to remove a face up on a vinyl doll?

  • People really must put a lot of love into these dolls. Must be the reason why it's so hard to obtain one. You should be worthy enough for them.

  • @venuslovechain95 vinyl is made from plastic. I wouldn't use this stuff on a vinyl doll. It's really, really strong.
