YYZ - BASS SOLO

Since my band won't play YYZ.. I figured I'd play YYZ all be my lonesome.

OK - I know it is not a grand performance piece and I screwed up on a couple of things.. but this was a one-take that wasn't even supposed to make it onto youtube.

This video is really just my interpretation of the source material using my own technique. I figured since there are so many videos out there that are trying to be exact copycats - that this would be a refreshing change of pace....

Come on guys stop hating. None of you could do a cover near as good as his. He is a talented bass player. Where did you learn how to play this? I want to learn. I know you use your own style but did you learn by ear or tab.

LOL! I don't know what all those people are saying, I thought you did a good job on the song. sure you didnt stay true to Geddy Lee but you gave it your own flavour. good job, anyone that says this sucks or that you can't play bass are probably new to the bass
