Most of the americans are misleaded to gloomy conclusions about other countries like UAE. What happened about the ports deal should encourage the americans to know more how these countries relate to the US. UAE was always a peacful country and it will remain so, ports or no ports. By the way, if the americans think the 100mil $ was a bribe, why they don't return it back? Cos its not, thats why.

Well the letter D in DPW stands for Dubai, it's the name of a city in the UAE, by 2011 3% of it's total revenues are gonna come from it's oil, the rest of the money comes from business, it's reputation is extremely important to it, if it loses goodwill it will go broke, I think it would do it's damnded to protect the ports from terror, there's just too much at stake for it

Besides, 100 millions doesn't mean anything, Kuwait gave 500 million for Katrina, the whole world was donating money to the States after Katrina, it will happen again when anything like this happens again (God forbid), there's nothing sinister in that, it's just normal business, DPW wanted to run the Ports just to make money simple as that
