Openly Atheist Celebrities: Welcome to the Club!

Atheism is a natural product of human evolution. Those of us who are no longer enslaved by myths and dogmas are becoming many. We don't blindly believe in man made doctrines, we don't fear imaginary ghosts or fictional gods. We prefer thinking to being force fed ignorant ideas. Life is good, but it ends. Mortality is not something to fear but a natural part of life. We can accept these facts without need to invent alternative lies. We all die and forever stay dead. Until then we enjoy living as genuinely good and decent humans. We reject the hate, the intolerance and the destruction dictated by religion. We are many. Are you one of us? Welcome! We are a non-prophet organization. We worship nothing. We just live peacefully, and we believe that only people who ARE genuinely good actually ARE hgenuinely good. Prayer and faith add nothing. Religion seems to be nothing more than a charter for exhibiting the most profoundly unpleasant character traits.

Life's too short for all that Jazz. Let's face it: Religion is a disease, and it's time to start the healing. Many of us have been there and done that. We are better now. Better equipped to live a productive, wonderful life. Chances of rejoining any of the countless dogmatic cults out there: Near zero.

@tekbarrier You see us everyday on the street, at the office, at the grocery stores. Don't go by someone's name, go by their character, their way of life.

We are not likely to be found locked up or causing pain and suffering. We get along with almost all people. We truly live by the Golden Rule. We exhibit more human qualities and virtues than most other people.

When you are looking at a genuinely decent human being, you are quite likely to have before you an atheist.

@kenforall If the "Almighty" wanted us little hmans to follow a religion, He wouldn't have made them all so God damn BOOOORING!

Besides, any God who demands to be worshiped is too insecure and vain for me to respect. God's features are suspiciously HUMAN. (hint!)

@SynchroTotal Plus any god that does a crappy job informing people about his presence, tells people in to murder, rape, is OK with slavery, wants you to cut your dick, supposedly forced free will on you, watches you all the time even after you' re dead, had his own son tortured to death, watches while millions of people suffer horrible deaths and has created hell for us, I do not find worth praising or looking up to. I find someone like that a horrible and despicable monster.
