Melbourne Freeway Tour: Citylink, Monash Freeway and Eastlink and Eastern Freeway

Very quick tour of four of the main freeways in Melbourne, Victoria. Travelling south along Citylink through the Burnley Tunnel onto the Monash Freeway, exiting south onto the new Eastlink Tollway, and then turning around, back up through the Melba Tunnel and onto the Eastern Freeway, winding through North Melbourne in Friday afternoon peak-hour traffic to Citylink.

Sorry it is such a short and sharp tour: I did not realise I had the Time Lapse settings incorrect and I'm quite disappointed with the result! The drive took about 2.5 hours, and cost about $22 in tolls on the Citylink and Eastlink Tollways.

There's quite a bit of construction on the Citylink South and Monash Freeways and traffic was quite heavy, but it made for a good drive.

Mate, if I could, I would make my day too! Unfortunately, I had the web cam set to record one frame per minute and speed up to 30 fps, thus the poor result.

If I get time one day, I may try to catch some still frames to give people an idea of what these freeways are like.

And if I ever get to visit Melbourne again and do the same, I'll make sure I get the settings right!
