How do you get a 1985 technology camera to upload to youtube @ 480p? Nice hill! Not 50+ mph IMO. high 30's to low 40's. I've gone over 50 many times on my luges and it looks different than this. Great video though...thanks.

I was one y/o when this vid was made hahaha... So cool to get a look at the origins of DH and Street Luge! Love the 80's gear and clothes, high tech!! Hope everyone is still rolling...
On another note, I wanna skate that hill! Looks nice but I bet its all developed by now... oh to have smooth crete like that in the middle of no where by me. That would be sweet.

Yeah, saved to my favorites. In 1985 i was 5yo going downhill lieing on a normal cheap skateboard.

yep - this was 25 years ago. waaay before the xgames and way before skateboarding was 'cool' or even considered a sport.. Gerry Dunlava came up w/ the idea.
