Clockwork Doll

This is a run-through of my Clockwork Doll piece I'm performing for the A+D Booty show.

I pulled this together over the past few days, so it's not heavy on technique and focuses instead on movement and character. It's also not completely polished yet (eesh, the transitions!), but I thought I'd throw up a run through for folks to see what I've been up to :)

I conceptualized this as more of a dance piece with props than a poi act, partially because it's technically very simple and partially because I can't actually light up in a club surrounded by DJ equipment. I had loads of fun coming up with the character and designing the look- you'd be amazed what you can do with two pairs of stripy tights and some scissors.
