  • I love the videos you share, thank you very much for doing so. They're great quality and always very enjoyable :)

  • @jojo5256 If you do a search on Y.T. for some of the names mentioned...you'll know what I'm talking about...Legends...that kept the music alive when it was "neither popular or profitable."

  • @homelonging

Me too, but don't know if I would be a fiddler or box player. Ah, yes a box player - there are too may 'fiddlers' in this country.

  • In my next life I would love to be a musician like this. In this life I'm just a very happy listener to the videos you share.

  • Love that last comment.Sums it all up what music like that does for the soul. Iontach ar fad!!

  • Excellent! Now what do I do about the hole I stomped through my floor?

  • O my godness, that's the kind of music, that reconciles myself with the whole world.

  • Another great one! You made my day. It was crap until just now. Thanks.

  • Love this one - lifts my spirits for the rest of the day.

    Mo ghraidhn sibh go léir!

  • What an enjoyable tune! Thanks.

  • Who made this video? Great work!

  • @proinsias78 I AM an American fiddler who plays old time music with a buildup of rosin on my fiddle that gets wiped off once a year, maybe. Seems most American(?) fiddlers today are classically trained and tend to wipe the rosin off after each playing as they wish to keep their fiddle's finish as pristine as possible, imho. At least that seems to be the case here where I live and play. It's nice to see that I'm not alone in the "rosin buildup" department! ;D
