  • Barbie is a doll a piece of plastic and this video would have been GREAT if you didn't include that part

  • Are there any negative health consequences from being fat. Our society is much fatter than it was 20 years ago. I recently got fat from being lazy. I started doing something oppressive to solve it - I exercise for 20 minutes a day - I met my goal weight by doing this and drinking excessive amounts of coffee filled with cream and sugar. I continue to exercise rather than complain about how terrible it is that people don't say fat is a good thing.

  • OH NOOO PEOPLE WE NEED TO RAISE MORE MONEY WOMEN ARE STILL NOT 100% HAPPY THERE ARE STILL PROBLEMS TO ADRESS!!!

  • @willemdawillem

this video does mention men starting at minute 1:42

  • Average video. Why? Because you only worry about females having eating disorders. This isn't a female problem, it's a problem of our society. Do you realize there are millions of men suffering from this disease?

I'm pretty sick of people only talking about women having problems in society. It's the same with violence, it's only a problem when women get abused in their homes while every domestic violence statistics show that men get abused by their female partner just as much.

  • It is all the fault of the GAY fashion designers who insist on skinny models! Why don't they ask us real men how we like women? The Monroe body is basically what we want and not the pogo stick heroin look the modelling industry is trying to push on us.

  • @sarahnotenough A possibility of the disorder being genetic? Well, then why are these cases of ED are only prominent in the US and the UK? Besides these two countries, I haven't encountered any ED in any other countries, especially in underdeveloped countries. In short, folks have to be American or part of the UK to experience this ED condition.

  • yes I have done research on these Actually there is a possibility that there is a genetic component. People with family members who have had eating disorders are more likely to have eating disorders

There are two main schools of thought about ED's one is that they are addictions(def. addiction genes) and the other says they are a form of OCD (also genetically linked) ED's manifest mental problems through food and appearance, but those just masking underling mental issues/problems

  • @sarahnotenough Have you done research on both forms of eating disorders? Those who suffer from eating disorders do so due to self-loathing for not fitting in public perception. This problem has been fixed for many, thus which is an indication of a self-controlled habit rather than an idiopathic mental disorder. It isn't even hereditary at all, in fact. These two eating disorders really didn't begin appearing in America until the 80's.

  • there is actually a growing number of males suffering from eating disorders.

I think your comment is rather ignorant... this is a mental illness, and it's the one with the highest mortality rate...

people don't chose to have eating disorders
