Short but sweet zoomed-in demo showing all the aerial moves unique to the Harrier.
I film this every year (Lord willing). This one is10/2007 (at MCAS Miramar, San Diego). Unlike these films 2011-12 will be filmed with a high end cam.

SAN DIEGO, Calif. The Marines at MCAS Miramar will soon have some new planes to fly.

The aging F/A-18 Hornets will be replaced with Joint Strike Fighters.

The Navy has announced 6 squadrons are coming to San Diego starting in 2012 (after mid-summer) - eventually numbering close to a hundred (96).

The F/A 18 Hornet, which is commonly seen over the skies of San Diego, is planned to be slowly be phased out, (around 2017) by the military for the F-35B fighter jet.
