BREWERY'S DESCRIPTION & INFORMATION:
The distinctive India Pale Ale style was developed by British brewers in the 1700s in order to create a sturdy beer that could survive long sea journeys to far-flung colonies where troops eagerly awaited the arrival of this sublime liquid refreshment. Long Hammer takes the traditional IPA brewing process one step further by dry hopping, or adding hops at the end of the brewing process with Cascade hops to give a wonderful hop aroma but not the overpowering hop taste. Long Hammer IPA is the beer you find yourself reaching for again and again, no matter what the occasion.
Long Hammer pairs nicely with grilled meats, seafood, Mexican, Indian, Thai or other spicy ethnic foods.

this is one of the worst ipa style beers I've had...I'll take dogfish 60, or stone ipa over this crap any day.

@hotshotslayer yeah, it definitely is one of the mildest most overtly mainstream IPAs I can think of. Did you know it's the best-selling IPA in America? Alex Kopf personally told me that.

the most disgusting shit I've ever had. I'd rather drink a coors light, bud light or what have you. Hell, even a keystone ice.

Maybe it was a good IPA if its an IPA they brewed back like 300 year ago in India? I agree with you when you call it more of Pale Ale. I do like the hops in it, it has good flavor but it just doesn't really overwhelm your palette like a good IPA from California.

Best selling?..wow....just go's to show people spend money on whats in eyes view...I say give that shelf space to a real ipa...ruination comes to mind
