A LaPiccola.com coffee machine being used to make an Americano. Making an espresso (the base for all coffee) is an art. Before pods there were many ways of getting the grind, measurement and tamping wrong. This affects the crèma, flavour and acidity of the espresso. By using Lucaffé coffee pods you get a perfect 25-30ml pour with a thick, consistent crèma and the perfect espresso every time. With a tender, sweet taste and an unforgettable aroma you will never forget your Lucaffé experience.
I hear what you mean, but not everyone has the desire or interest to go through the grinding trial and error, tamping trial and error, and temperature trial and error of most semi-auto machines to perfect the shot. I love the classic process, but still appreciate what a well made pod machine can do assuming it has good components and uses good coffee for those not inclined to master the process. Sure beats the likes of the nespresso or Keurig machines, that really do not compare.

this is an outrage, a travisty to baristry! How this might be considered, in the circle, as a correct amricano-production form, is beyond me...
