Dan Mick makes it look easy. He's been running the trails in Moab for about 30 yrs. Now he runs guided tours.

  • I can't tell, but is that stock? the wheels and tires seem a little big, but i may be wrong...

  • I'm pretty sure it was stock. Stock Rubicon, that is. In Moab, you get such awesome traction on the rock that you don't need much of a vehicle, just some driving skill, & some brass.

  • Whatever happened to the yj Dan had with the stripes on it ?

  • yeah, so i am Lacy Ann.. i am Dan Micks daughter.. lol i have driven that jeep up the gates of hell about 7 times.. i am only 16 the first time i drove it up i had just barly turned 15.. lol i love that jeep.. lol

  • so then you can confirm that it is stock? i'd say fix the tags so that it includes stuff like "wrangler" and "stock" and "rubicon." that way people will stop saying that all jeeps do is roll if you lift them, and that they can't go anywhere if you don't. now we just need a video of the escalator...

  • hi im rich (dan's son). you might not know it but that is the last!! rubicon of the line. we did not want to do to much to it so we can retane its value but for the most part it has a lot of under value on it. just wanted to clear that up. PS the dog is named star

  • I'm not much of a jeep guy (nothing against them) but IMO Rubicons are bad ass!

  • yeah, i'm so glad that some1 finally posted a vid of a stock wrangler goin up that thing. they were gettin such bashings from hummer and fj cruiser enthusiasts. the only thing that appears (based on photos from jeep website) not to be stock on that is the front rock rails.
