Egypt has decided to re-open the Rafah border crossing temporarily for 3 days as of Saturday for stranded Palestinians at both sides to travel across the border.
Some 5,000 Palestinians have signed up to leave the Gaza Strip via the Rafah border terminal over the next three days.
Among those who have been given permission to pass through are students and Palestinians need medical treatment
On the Egyptian side, 700 people and 10 trucks with medical aid from Arab countries were waiting to enter.
