A Marx 666 die-cast O scale locomotive with side/chest smoker. I added a traction wheel to help it climb on the tight incline radius section of my layout. goes right up with no problem and negotiates the s-curves nicely.

  • dude the new aux smoke that lionel came out with, according to this its a scandel! its only just been brought back! love the train though shocked that it has AUX smoke! way to go dude!

  • @EPICTHOMASFAN713 Thanks - these have been around for years and smoke pretty nice. Marx always had nice smokers.

  • Nice video and a your 666is a great puller. Thanks for posting.

  • @gcalco Thanks Jerry! Brian

  • Good film. The tight curves and inclines make it far more difficult on the engine to pull those cars. In my video "How Much Can My Custom Mark 666 Pull?" I pull 9 pounds of heavy K-line cars on a level track with O-42 curves. I believe your engine may have won.

  • @chiconian49 Thanks Chuck and Jerry. 9 pounds of cars is A Lot of pulling power Chuck - I watched yours again recently....the 666 is a great engine.

  • @hammerfister WOAH hold on a sec... u said this has been around for a while?! WTF! do u know if the "whistle steam" effect is also a bring back, or is it a new thing?

  • Very nice set up you have there. I had a Marx Big Rail many moons ago and it pulled like a tank. I miss that old train. Love that engine in your video!

  • this is nice the 1666 is a side smoker as well if marx can add side soleing engines i always wounderd why lionel never did it any of there engines thay dont even have that in there top of the line vision line lionel trains today and the vision lines are great looking engines
