  • Does anyone know if there's a better quality version of this to view anywere?

  • this is how most of my conversations went with Keith for several years...

    "o yiz stoodints?"

    "aye"

    "sorry nee stoodints!"

    the following Saturday...

    "o yiz stoodints?"

    "no!"

    "Sorry, stoodints ownlee!"

  • I was in the cafe on boxing day with afew friends and had a great night, even though there was only 4 of us in the place. Keith Crombie is a canny bloke and real gentleman.

  • Well made documentary!!

  • @dermot1175 what? its still there man. i was there last friday

  • its my ambition for my band to play there one day.

  • The Jazz Cafe is amazing and doesn't only cater to the Jazz crowd. Check out Pink Lane Poetry and Performance, a monthly event.

  • do u know if this place is open??? i went today and it was closed, no life at all.. i went into the pub next to it and they said it opens at strange times.

  • There should be more places like this. Nice atmos and lots of cool bands. I was never too keen on the free burger and chips...but i'll eat anything after a few pints.

  • Any other live jazz bars in Newcastle?
