Test run of the Yangke YK950i Inverter Generator

A test run video of my new generator, the design of this generator has been copied much by Chinese manufacturers, the original design is rumored to be from Yamaha and date back to the 70's, but the inovation of the Yangke redesign is the use of a voltage inverter to maintain constant voltage, allowing delicate electronics like computers to be run. and an adjustable governor to run the generator at lower RPMs, great for saving fuel, these features are usually found on the "plastic suitcase" generators costing upwards of $700, this generator cost me $129 with shipping on Ebay, from my test run i can see that this design is going to become very popular with campers and those that want to have a portable backup generator.

the fuel tanks are vented, it is generally not a good idea to store fuel in them when not using the generator. if you need a rubber foot, use a rubber grommet from a hardware store. if the shut off valve leaks, replace with a barb splice connector. it is also a good idea to replace the fuel line with quality, automotive grade tubing.

this generator does not have 12V output, but you can connect a 220v battery charger to the generator and use that for charging

those are bad because they are made very cheap and are dangerous

Ich habe schon lange den umgetauscht .

bei den ich jetzt habe läuft benzin aus dem schlauch raus . Und ich ver kaufe mein .

der ist am 10.12 an gekommen er läuft perfekt es ging auch schnell

ja wir haben hir 230 voli in deutschland und die hochspannung: 380 Volt (z.b Herd)

oder ameistens benützte hochspannung 400 Volt aber das wollte ich mal schreiben .

So das läuft ja unter garantie und das mit en fuß und den tankdichtung wäre ich zum fachhändler für gummi dichtung die haben solche dichtung passent aber mit den vergaser und den benzin nee ich mache nix auseinander wegen der garantie und den schalter den tank ab u.s.w nee danke

Und die wissen das .Weil ich die damit angeschrieben habe und seit so 6 monate warte ich arauf es kam nichts an . Die hatten schon 2 mal gesickt zu mir (Mit eim brief . Nix

.und seit dem mit den Vergaser hatee es gereicht und zu den geschickt und sollen den Generator reparieren.
