Made by students from Burnaby North Secondary School '09, this Robotic hand's purpose is to imitate sign language.

Each finger is controlled by a servo motor, which in turn, is programmed in Java. The user simply opens the program and enters string of words, and the hand will show the string in sign language.
Unfortunately, due to limitations in the number of servo motors, some letters, such as "R", cannot by imitated because the fingers cannot move left and right, only up and down.

Special thanks to Mr. Janetka for supplying the servo motors and circuit boards.
Also thanks to Mr. Mah for supplying the wood
