I don't mind that the refs didn't blow it dead, but the celebration with a player down is in poor taste (classless, even) and the announcers are fucking assholes!

@8Eriquo8 Actually, "pain not peril" is an instant diagnosis my friend. Most commentators in this situation will say "a player is down and hurt on the ice," not "a player is down but I'm sure he's not really hurt because our team just scored." That's poor commentating.

@8Eriquo8 Ok, I can understand the announcer initially not seeing him get hit in the balls, but the fact that he had the benefit of replay and he still couldn't tell he got hit in the balls, or chose to ignore it, is fucking stupid. No way any man with his own set of testicles doesn't recognize the universal sign of someone getting hit in the balls.

Ladies, im pretty sure the announcer wasnt aware that the guy was hit in the nuts. Notice how he doesnt even grab them after the shot he just rolls around. There is no instant diagnosis to the play-by-play announcer

lol this is how the caps score there very few goals. You guys do realize there not going to be winninga cup in awhile? they got no goalie shit. this is not a good call by the ref. it was clear after he got hit that everyone stopped, so the caps just shot a puck??
