Sean mixes a song using the Burgin McDaniel Komit compressor on Kick, Snare, and Clavinet.

High quality versions of this and other videos can be found at: http://www.methodsandapplicationslaboratory.com/html/videos.html

Please watch the HQ version or visit our web site: the audio on the low-quality version renders the demo nearly useless.

The song is "Cry" by Jim Gambino.

  • What a horrible sounding mess.

  • Of course, you'd never judge a mix by some audio on YouTube, right? Right?

Please visit the website for real audio; the link is in the info.

  • Wasn't feelin what he did to the clav

  • I have a stupid question, if you don't want the Clav to sound like a Clav, then why was it being used in the first place?

  • More good stuff from the Kevin Burgin design bench. From subtle to crushing these units are destined to be classics....and they have that cool vintage vibe/sound that "good" analog gear provides over digital toys.

  • Riiight, here you are bootlegging digital crap and knocking one of the best reviewed pieces of analog gear made in 2008. Not to mention the designer was Rupert Neves lead designer for 10 years. These things are killer, and you know little my friend.

  • god, soooooo damn anal about tiny things in w million dollar hardwares, and still the entire feel is zillion times worse than my piracy copy cubase demo stuff shit.....

  • i would luv to here a R&B Soul record, mix in this studio!!!

  • Great!
