@badmotorscooter1000 "fake twirls" are not difficult and take less than a day to master. -_- i understand that while playing a song these sort of tricks in the video would be impossible. BUT!, they require more skill than the "Charge" and "Four fingerpass" If you look closely, the person in the video does MULTIPLE "fake twirls" and transitions out of them. He is moving at a higher speed and it looks better to most viewers than the simple moves most drummers do. This is next level, no less
@JusticeEmu Just wondering who your 1st drum hero was who twrilled sticks? To me the real talent of twrilling is being able to pull off unplaned twrills at any time. I typically twrill about 10 times a song about 50/50 left and right finger twrills. Im am not seeing any of the top flight drummers who are implementing twrills on a high level. The few who do tend to play do straight 4 patterns with the left hand and do fake twrills with the right. tells everyone just how difficult it is.
@JusticeEmu Deal. I bet you a hundred dollars that I school you. I make it a policy not to ever practice fake twrills. Alot of people can spin a stick until the lights come and they loose their nerve. Also their are alot of people who can spin who can't even play drums very well. I would like to see what you got though. I think its time for twrills to go to a all time new level. The bigtime drummers who hold their sticks like a cigerette and wiggle it amuse me. Shot me some video bro. see ya.
@badmotorscooter1000 The person in the video is clearly skilled enough to do a four-fingerpass, the tricks he is doing are much more complicated than that. it doesn't takes years to learn how to do a four-fingerpass either. you can honestly learn how in less than 10 minutes. "be glad to show you some badass stuff to work on" i'd love to see you do something better than in this video.
That shit is useless unless your standing in a hallway waiting for class to start. For fake twrills I like it but u can't do that while you are playing at least anything complicated. That looks like drumline bullshit. Learn now to roll the stick through your fingers with both hands. it takes yrs. to gain consistancy but when you master it poeple will be bowing down to you like they do me. Will have some video up soon. be glad to show u some badass stuff to work on.
