@hackerwacker4 its to do with the frequencies of the other instruments and the harmonizations etc thats why if you write an epic piece when you play in a band it sounds different and often worse thats why jamming is such a good wway to write music

yeah. for the rock house DVDs they do that so people can see what frets hes playing while watching the video...watch any other rock house video and you'll notice the guitarist has the markers on the neck
