Does no one realise ALS stands for Anti- Lag System.

Antilag only causes problems if your running a decat exhaust and the car is meant to have a cat for MOT. Otherwise it's only a case of noise pollution i'd assume but its switchable so you can just turn it off. It's only part of the ECU
