@CandieeLoVa23 Lol your comment made me laugh so much. The difficulty is 5.3, so u want to give her a perfect 10 execution, which has never been done in the new system, plus 1.7 points for extra credit, just because u favor her? I'm sorry but this is gymnastics not elementary, we dont just give extra credit points whenever we feel like it.

Since it was in China and the Chinese are very good at gymnastics I thought the scoring was a bit favourable especially because I think Nastia should have won uneven bars and beam, as for Shawn Johnson I think she should have won floor and all-around

Sorta of a deduction i found was kinda pike body, but to take off .475 for it thats a bit unfair. also, her gold at the uneven bars i found wasnt meant to be for her. But everyone blamed Sacramone for causing America to get 2nd. Shawn never stepped out of bounds on her floor 1st pass, and neither did Liukin. Plus, cheng fei stepped out of bounds as well but they didnt deduct for it in the team final. plus cheng got wayyyyy overscored in the beam final. Anna Pavlova shouldve taken bronze there

@cl200913 yeah, if that were in the early 90's that would have been a 10.0. They need to bring back the old system. Killing the sport.

@MATG66690 you know how the gymnastics community talks about how scores are often inflated for nastia? obviously you don't, because you're blinded by your own prejudice and lack of knowledge of the sport
