this is forgetting about insulin spikes if you take in to many refined carbs before bed. Yes if you still maintain a calorie deficit you'll lose WEIGHT but most likely it won't be FAT. When your insulin is spiked your body tends to hold on to its fat stores and if its not getting energy from fat its going to go for proteins in your muscles. The timing of your meals is important as to what type of carbs to eat and when.

@Carnuss lol oh shit sorry to hear... Man I went to twinmuscleworkout and honestly Ive lost 4-5kgs in 2weeks(not trying to cut fast). Im cutting at the mo and the twins helped me BIG time. Im not trying to interfere with Steve's advice Im just saying go check them out. I liked the advice they gave and it worked!!!

hi steve, my name is frank i'm 5'7 hight and i'm 34 years old my weight is 147 lbs i want to gain weight but i can't. in the morning i eat junk food at work like MacDonals or jack in the box etc. i get home like around 6 and go to buy like a meat burrito. i rarely exercise may be its why i don't gain weight please advice !!!
@BodyPerformanceTV Steve, you really are the man, there's so much rubbish out there! You reminded me how I lost fat in the first place, not by going low carb, not by eating tonnes of protein, but by reducing calories and moving more!

Hi Steve, i'm a 15 year old girl..i'm 5'3 and i weigh 125. I'm quite strong for my age, but i want more muscle:p mainly in my stomach, my stomach is the place where i have the most fat and it drives me insane >.< i do ab workouts and everything but that doesn't help! Any suggestions?

@YourBeautifulLovely You're still growing so we don't want to cut your calories too much. But do cardio (walking, walking and jogging) will help your body burn fat.
