I might be too much of a dog person, but if they did to dogs what you see in Felidae.... ugg, don't even want to think about it.
-
@respeanut And then their pumped full of drugs and die because we had to know what would happen if you over did it. You know those disclamers you here at the end of those commercials for over the counter drugs? You connect the dotes.

Humane treatment? They're not human!!! DUH!
-
@respeanut treat them so well while we infect them with cancer, aids, and other deadly diseases
-
@Rhaxma Well I would like that. Meeting an hurricane in a bar. I know what you want to say, but it's hard to compare a chaotic phenomenon and a human beeing, isn't it?
The dump thing about us is, we invented "non human behavior". (does not know the englisch word) Which means, beeing so cruel, so that it can't be human anymore. But only humans behave this way. (okay it's in the eye of the beholder) So what are we, to choose what is right and wrong?
-
@AoiXnoXSora Hell yes everyone would say its cruel. Its also cruel that sharks eat people when they're hungry. Its cruel when a volcano has no damn business erupting and ruining thousands of homes and lives. I think earthquakes and hurricanes should start looking at my rights as a damn human being, causing me all this pain... They have no right to experiment on us and then pass themselves off as "chaotic phenomenon" or "natural selection"
-
@AoiXnoXSora First you start worrying about their permission, next you'll start saying that they should get driving licenses too....And then you'll say that they should qualify for ID so they can order drinks in bars...
-
@respeanut Sure, but isn't it cruel enougth that we take the right, to do such researches on this animales, without their permission? I know, we need the results and are not able to ask a dog or rat would like to participate in something like this. But if a dog would test it's medicin on a human, everyone would say it's cruel?
-
@respeanut Its different in other countries you know...
-
They're acting like the dogs are going around intentionally shooting people wtf.
I still don't understand the purpose of Rowf's testing. Constant drowning and then resusitation? What will that help? Learning how to save drowning people more effectively? Or weakening the lungs to discover how to strengthen them? I'm lost :(

@0mikr0n Most animal testing facilities aren't like the one portrayed in this movie. the ones that ARE like this tend to get more attention by the public because of obvious reasons. But the truth is that most testing labs treat the animals in a humane manner (good enclosure, well balanced diet, play times etc.) They are treated pretty well, and we get the necessary benefits of medical research in return.
Remember, this is a movie. Don't always believe what the media tells you.
