Alice in Chains, its one of those unique bands. Its my favorite band of all time. This band is a godsend, a hidden gem. Probally the best underrated band of Music History. One of the greatest things about this band is their ability to create an atmosphere from a song. When I first heard Shame in You i was blown away by its uniqueness. The song is really about Layne's stuggles with drug addiction, but this song created an image in my mind. I've compared Layne's stuggle with mankind's stuggle to survive. With most of AiC's songs they start out depressing but uprise a spark of hope(like this song and Over Now). Long Live Laynes Legacy.
You know its weird but about a year ago I had a dream where I met Layne in person. I was actually talking to him and I swear it was his presence in my dream. I'll never forget that dream.
People, read this info for yourself. There is a person that knew Layne's mom Nancy and Mike Starr, and from what I've read Layne's death could possibly be a homicide. This is some serious shit and you should take a look for your self.

Read pages 55-65 and determine if this is true, if it is spread the word that Mike let Layne die....This is shocking to me.

I had a dream of meeting Layne Staley, too. At the end of the dream he said "I better go back to God." I didn't want him to leave and I started to cry. He said, "Maybe you'll see me again." Then he walked off my porch and climbed on the tree in my front yard, he got to the top and jumped to the sky and vanished.

that is the biggest load of bull shit i have ever heard layne staley didnt hang out with anyone when he died he was alon and one way or another drugs still would have killed him

You really dont know that. Do you have any proof where he was april the 4th to back that statement up? Why dont you ask Mike Starr for yourself then. And yes he was alone but he got abandoned by Mike Starr during his final moments in which he could have saved him. Layne said he didnt want to die this way in the first place.

You look like one of those obsessed nirvana fans that won't live their lives because they're too busy trying to figure who crucified their fuckin messiah, like Courtney Love or somthin.. Now it's the bassist fault that the guy been an addict for a hole decade?I love aic songs,but I just hate psycho fans.They're a disgrace.Lennon is dead `cause of a psycho, so is dimebag and whatever.
