Cool-cool sound, now I know it is from the open tuning - G tuning means here from low e string to high e string: d, g, d, g, h, d. As the only strings you do not have to change are in the middle section, Richards could use two "normal" finger settings to reach this incredible riff harmonies. I needed a couple of minutes to find out the tuning, then 15 minutes to think and watch and copy - and then I realize how Richards found this by moving his lazy fingers up and down the new. Ingenious!!!
very nice jammin with ya! it's my favorite tune. check out delbert mcclinton and his stone-influenced offerings. hardly anyone didn't like their backbeat.
Great sounding guitar. Now I want a Deluxe.
