Finocchio's Night Club San Francisco circa 1978-83

Photos of entertainers and dancers from the famous Finocchio's. Included are many never before seen photos from my personal collection from the the '70's and the 80's. Keny Stewart worked at Finocchio's for 5 years as a ventriloquist with wonderful memories of this historic 63 year nightclub. The backstage photos were taken by myself. Remember, these were professional female impersonators, who sang live and did their own routines. Hope you enjoy this tribute to a famous landmark in San Francisco. Today December 29Th 2011 , a great man has left us. Bobby Belle is now in Heaven with his beloved Mama. I will miss him, I will miss his sense of humor,I will miss his charm, his love.He was more than a friend to me.He was there for me when I needed someone and I was there for him when he thought about suicide.To his lovers/losers that dumped him, your lost! Finocchio's was one of the top rated San Francisco nightclubs that showcased many multi-talented female impersonators. Finocchio's attracted millions of visitors over its 60 year history. These photos play tribute to some of the talented and professional entertainers who worked at the club.

These were some of the best times in my theatrical life,.... and also seeing there the talented Lavern Cummings and our wonderful emcee, the late Carroll Wallace brings lots of nostalgic memories to my heart, and of course, seeing you too up there too doing your wonderful ventriloquist act(s).
