That's a good question that nobody can answer,most of the southern states still voted for Mccain,but at the same time Obama did win some states that were known for voting for replublicans,so it's hard to tell,one thing is for sure ,there are people in this country that want to see change.

fedupx5900: he did not repeat what chief justice robert said. He stopped the first time and motioned to Robert so that Robert can correct himself. And even on the second try, Robert still got it wrong. So Mr. President went ahead and read the oath correctly. READ YOUR SOURCE CAREFULLY! AND TRY TO REALLY LISTEN. Personally, I am disapointed that this particular black man said exactly what a white man told him to say despite the fact that he knew it was wrong.

I felt uncomfortable, listening to the 'mistake', only because I saw it coming. CNN says that the Justice read it wrong or something?...fine. I gotta think that its not the first time a president has messed it up in some way. Who can blame the dude tho..the moment was MUCH much bigger than him. After all, he was taking an oath, for many of those who fought and died to pave the way for him. Id be nervous too. 2 million fans coming to see him, didnt make a mistake, thats what's really important..

It doesnt matter if he messed up or not. What is important is that we made history today. All of us minorities have been waiting for this day as well as our ancestors. We can declare that we made it and anything is possible if you put God first and you trust in him.
