  • Cakewalk,

I have music I placed on CDs. Am I able to extract the audio from my CDs to MC5? Also does this software have tempo matching? Thanks in advance.

  • @cdouble34 Yes, you can import audio files into the program. Yes, there are tools in MC5 that use can use to adjust tempo

  • The circle on the mouse click is not part of the software. I believe it was part of the screen capture program we used to make the video

I have exported the WAV file and am ready to burn, but the burner will not come up. I tried to burn with windows media player, but it says that there is no track length so it cannot burn. How do I do it?

  • How can i export my track in mp3 format? it says i must unlock the audio encoder for mp3's

  • That process doesn't explain how to integrate midi recordings into a final project though does it? how do you do that?

  • I have a problem. I understand the process of this, but I just can't find the burn feature under tools on my software. Is that something that I need to contact support about?

  • Does anyone know how to transfer iTunes songs into MC5? All I want to do is import karaoke music so I can sing the songs with the music and make CDs. I asked Cakewalk tech support for help and they never responded. This has not been a cakewalk at all!! Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance!

  • Is there a way to manually tweek settings during the recording process? For example, I record an entire solo bass piece; during just one measure of this song, I would like to add an effect OR just manipulate the sound by messing with settings. So I am basically asking, while it is recording per say, can I change settings on an instrument manually (after I have played it). I am a long time musician but have no recording experience, so I understand if my question is hard to understand and answer.

  • wat about vocal recording???

  • i have cds and music but wen i burn the songs onto a cd only the first 1:30 of the song is burned to the disc so its constainly skipping during the songs

  • I am unable to export a file to get a audio cd. Please help me to get my audio Cd. This is how I do: I open the song, I press edit/all, all my clips become highligthed , I press export, a different window appears, this windows says: look = sample contend, file wave, stereo, 44,100, 16 bits, triangular shape, the preset box appears empty, and all mix enables are checked. I press export, nothing happens. What should I do ? Would you please help me ?

  • Thank you so much for putting this up. I really needed it.
