Beneath The Veil - Women In Islam Part 1 of 5
Aired: October 09, 2007 on Channel 4 Documentary in which reporter Saira Shah risks her life as she goes undercover in Afghanistan to obtain footage showing the regime over which the Taliban presides. She uncovers evidence of public executions, the slaughter of civilians, and a complete absence of rights for women.
"Moderate" muslims, Women's Rights Activists, Code Pink, and the Hollywood left remain silent about these abuses. They object to the West interfering with islamic affairs, complain about 'hurt' feelings when someone insults muhammad, object to un-islam displays, protest non-existent discrimination, kill over rumours of non-muslim men dating a muslim women, but then turn a blind eye on the horrid treatment of women and little girls under muslim rule.

This has really moved me...This reporter has left me feeling just how much in common Afghan women have with us western women. I really admire these womens strength. God bless them..Such strong women. Where are all the feminists here in the west? Where are they now??? They should ALL shout long and loud about this treatment of our sisters.
