The fight to keep marijuana illegal in the US is a tired and ridiculous waste of time and money. If you don't want to smoke pot then don't...legalizing it will not destroy the United States any more than liquor has since the great prohibition disaster that caused organized crime to skyrocket. Meddle in your own private life, don't concern yourself with mine.

  • real talk dude

  • LOVE IT!!! AWESOMELLY SAID LOL AMERICA WANTS IT LEGAL!! :-)

  • Okay now I really want to go visit you and chill out because that sounds sooo nice.

  • Things are a lot more civilized and progressive in the Netherlands... Now all they need to do is eliminate some of their notorious bureaucracy and life could be a dream...

  • @angryislander56Plus all the empty jail cells. Think of how private prisons would howl! And all those cops suddenly available to fight ACTUAL crime. The money that is spent annually in this country to fly cops around in helicopters to destroy the gardens of hard working gardeners is nothing but scandalous.

  • Obviously one of the many reasons that the Netherlands tops the best places to live list:) A very sensible approach. Doubtful that the new Congress of the US, who pay lip service to things like freedom and debt reduction and farming, will see the benefit in what you say. That would require seeing the connection between freedom and tolerance, making new revenue instead of cutting services, and embracing hemp. The party of NO will never see the logic.

  • @grumpychuck I think we both recognize the idiocy and hypocrisy behind this jihad on drugs. Just rediculous. PS--no insult towards your kids. :)

  • I completely understand your frustration. I wish people here would recognize the insanity of banning pot AND of classifying Industrial Hemp as a drug thus subjecting it to the same ban when the stuff can't get you high and should be used for all sorts of stuff here (and everywhere else) Green paper, cloth, "plastic" and we could actually dye it all different colors ;‹D

Your club sounds nice - wish I could go there.

  • Free the weed!
