Magnum came in from Bill Watts promotion where Wrestling 2 had helped mentor & polish his skills in a tag team against the Midnight Express for the tag titles. The two wrestlers split in a storyline where 2 became jealous of T.A.'s popularity, with 2 abandoning T.A. in a tag title match where T.A. lost the match and titles.
2 & T.A. feuded for a few months and when T.A. started showing a killer instinct he had not had before 2 revealed that this was 2's intention all along.
