This is a short video showing some graphics problems I am having with Call of Duty 2 on a XFX 8800 GTS Video Card.

This game also has the same problems that I have in SWG and Lost Planet and every other game so far... Look in the backround, some textures "flicker" and become distorted, especially on the tank. Check out some of my other videos to see what I am talking about.

  • Just buy cod 4 :D

  • I have it(COD4) on the PS3, heh. But as far as WW2 shooters go, I think COD2 for the PC is the best, hands down.

  • Timb4, yes it is a hardware problem. It may be caused by Overheat or TOO MUCH overclocking of the unit.

  • It was never overclocked and it was brand new. I hecked the temps on the GPU while in games and it was nothing out of the ordinary.

  • Just a update on my situation...I contacted XFX and explained everything and they RMA'ed it and I have a replacement now and it works great. No problems at all...It is definatly a problem with the card itself, not a driver/software conflict.

  • i love this game !

  • do u have changed the graphic card?

  • Hmm i got even worse.. when i play after about 15 min i get a bsod.. or a hungup.. afterwards i got blue artifacts.. :\ I thought nvidia was a propper brand? Pftft i should of stayed with ATi

  • You should try cleaning the graphics card, and reseating the heatsink. To do so, remove the heatsink (attached with screws, e.d) and replace the thermal paste. That will help.

  • big deal mine is choppy as a bitch but on single player its awsome

  • That almost certainly looks like a hardware problem. Glad you fixed it.

  • Maybe your Card gets too Hot check the Temperatures...

  • yooo what is your fps on games like cod2 and 4 .. because Im going to buy the 8800GTS from PNY.

    Thank you!

  • yea ur 100% rite best ww2 game

  • I had the same problem in world of warcraft, it was because i was using 16 bit, and not 24 bit in the game :P
