Wild bird feathers, mostly wild turkey feathers, sanitized and meticulously prepared and hand painted by Glenda Garrett of Divine inspirations.
The best way to display them is in a shadow box frame

  • Thank you for your questions.

The feathers must be sanitized first with an industrial, antifungal, antiviral and antibacterial soap, dried then the feathers have to be ironed and made stiff with a clear spray and then a shaped backing put on the back of the feather with two part apoxi and put under presure then the painting can be done and then another layer of spray coating for protection.

I have never died peackock feathers, I'm not sure if it would alter the texture.
