p.s. the forgiveness I speak of is that of parents who keep putting me down and calling me a loser because IM not materialistic. They think because I have morals and put love first, that I am a loser. They will not see my side nor respect it, but I forgive them, but it just leads to me getting stomped on again and the circle repeats. their negativity is not worth it. I'd love to forgive them and have them leave me alone, but they see me as their weak victim due to my good heart. sad.

Forgiveness is probably my hardest thing to do. I guess because everytime I do it, the same people keep doing it to me. How many times can one keep forgiving when the offenders never learn the error of their ways? Good video though. Happy Holidays to you and your!

Is it possible to disconnect the mind from God? Is war a result of that disconnection? Is our inability to forgive a result of that?

War is in no way necessary to learn anything.

At all.

Cancer does not teach the body how to function properly. The body already knows.

So it is with us.

Evil, hate and fear is not necessary to know "good". We already know.

I've been a jerk too. And people have been jerks to me. It's this range of experience that helps us exercise empathy and develop the capacity to forgive. I appreciate your honesty and consider you to be one of God's gifts to me this year. All the best for the new year Dan :-)

Forgiving myself and being less apologetic is something I'm really stuggling with right now. Karma and past lives don't figure into the equation for me, I'm all about the here and now because that is all I can know is real. Everything else is memory and shadows. The greatest struggle is control I suppose, forgiving is accepting that not everything is within our control.

And BTW I hope Krista forgives you too! hahaha
