  • First of all, who ever said professional wrestling was a sport? It's called "sports ENTERTAINMENT" for a reason. It's really more like theatrical athelticism.

Second of all, by implying that wrestling is fake, you're setting it up to be something that it has never once claimed to be. At no point did wrestling ever say it was real. This being said, pro wrestlers are without a doubt some of the greatest athletes in the world, and I can assure you that a lot more of it is real than you think

  • guys guys guys the only thing that is fake about wrestling is that its not a fight like in the ufc...everything else is real and the shots are so very stiff,,,and those finishing moves by teddy hart or jack evans or petey williams and that skilled generation,,,the guy giving the move usually gets the brunt of the impact to "save his buddy" for the next promo in the next town,,,unlike ufc where the object is to kill ur opponent..this new generation owns tna and wwe and mr machmaaaans balls

  • OMG! :O

  • @RkBoogy that's all fine and good, and i guess i agree with most of what you said. the thing is, like i said before, you don't just throw stuff out there. if one piece is wrong, it's all wrong. you can't try and claim wrestling wasn't defensive about the realness. they didn't come out with it until relatively recently. i looked for your matches on youtube and i found one but i kind of skipped through it. i like that full nelson facebuster/neckbreaker combo you did though. that was pretty cool.

  • @yourtunesfuckinsuck Be that as it may, once it got out that it was all a work, the business embraced it and has since made it very well known that it's just entertainment. Furthermore, it would also be fairly easy to argue that the business was a lot more real in those days. Wrestling has changed a lot since the fairground attraction days... Currently, wrestling is in a place where it can embrace that fact that people know it's fake and use that to add to the entertainment value.

  • @RkBoogy dude wrestling absolutely used to claim it was real! what the hell are you talking about? back in the day you could be fined by some companies for heel/face fraternization in public, and let's not forget the famous video of david schultz slapping the shit out of some reporter for saying it's fake. if you want to make a point, you can't just make stuff up.

  • @Whadzup100 @ German Wrestling Promotion - 2006 "Spring attack"

  • where is this german wrestling promotion??

  • @indywrestlingrocks Not to bea dick, but yeah... I got it. I am a wrestler. I've got like.... 30 matches on youtube... My worker name is Ryne Kensei. However, it's still the same thing in Japan... The fans there are just more respectful. It's a bigger deal, but it's still the same thing. Just stiffer... and more head droppy. haha.
