Mr. Salty was the only pretzel made without yeast and that was what made them so good. My sister had a yeast allergy and couldn't eat regular pretzels. I contacted NABISCO when they first quit making them, explaining my sister's problem and they sent me coupons for their yeast-infested snacks. That's how much they care about the consumer! What idiots...

I used to love these as a kid also. I remember they had the pretzel sticks also that were the same size box as the barnums animal crackers and my mom would open them up in the store so we could eat them or probably to shut my brother and I up because we hated to go to the store.

@m301 Tell me more as I remember these pretzels. Why did narrow minded people remove them? Who cares if it did have something sexual to do with it. I didn't think it did. Those prezels were salty that's why they called that.

@68lincoln Miss those prezels. I think about that from time to time. I loved the packaging. very clever. They don't make good things like that anymore. Sad.
Even commercials today aren't exciting as they used to be.
