Ah ha . . . thanks for your insight. (The cross country capacity of the truck is 2.5 tons . . . a deuce and a half actually weighs just shy of 7 tons.) The reason the truck went into the mud with the street tires was to see what the truck can and can't do . . . in a controlled situation with plenty of extraction vehicles present. I consider that very bright.
