I have been doing some top 5 floor montages, but I decided on top 10 for vault, because it's MUCH quicker. Included are 1. Olesya Dudnik 1989, 2. Svetlana Baitova 1988 (tie), 2. Eugenia Golea 1987 (tie), 4. Elena Shushunova 1985, 5. Olga Mostepanova 1984, 6. Aurelia Dobre 1987, 7. Oksana Omelianchik 1987, 8. Boriana Stoyanova 1983, 9. Olga Bicherova 1981 and 10. Natalia Shaposhnikova 1980. All the clips are in slow motion (1/2 speed). Changed the music so that it wouldn't get taken away. Used to be there she goes by the La's

A personal choice, indeed. I guess the author wanted to represent each year of the 1980s.
I would put a Melita Ruhn's perfect 10 vault or a Davydova's 9.95 vault from the Moscow Olympics instead of Shaposhnikova's. But I guess the author personally prefered Natalia Shaposhnikova as a person not her average vault.
And yes, M.L.Retton in 1984 instead of, let's say, Stoyanova in 1983.
1982 could be represented by Agache's vault in the World Cup AA.
1983 by Yurchenko's vault in the Worlds AA.

what about mary lou? i know a lot of fans criticize her win after the fact but her it still does change the fact that her run was the fastest, vault was the most powerful and she got the most distance out of any one ive ever seen even with gymnasts today.
