I was in this band in'65, well after this and Mickey's other tunes were recorded, but Mickey and all the others were still there; Bill Ballard on guit., John Owen on bass, Leroy Butler on drums, Gilbert poole on Hammond organ and Mickey on piano. The only thing I cut with them was 'Way Out Willie'. The sax on 'Bip Bop' was by Dallas 'Moon' Mullins.

He was a great guitar player and singer. He and John had an act very much like the Everly bros. Bill was doing feedback on the guitar years before it showed up on pop records. In addition, he was funny as heck and kept us in stitches most of the time.
