WoF 2/27/09: 5000th Show (2/2)

I have pretty much no comment on this, mostly because I got my hopes up for everything to go really well for once, and...nothing went wrong...but absolutely nothing happened, either. I'm simply uploading this because I promised to awhile back, and there are sprinkled comments throughout the show.

One caveat: the last segment of this show (the bonus round, I mean) is not pretty. I have no idea why they made it so hard on such a day.

Wow! They're almost at 10,000. They should do a special show in honor of that and include the daytime version next time around.

Yeah. I've noticed that too. They have said that they started in 1983, but I have researched it and noticed that the daytime version started in 1975, so I wonder what number show that would be if they had counted that version.

Hey, that Million Dollar win practically made up for all those times, thankfully.

Although this was the 2nd-least convienent bonus loss I've ever seen! (1st-least was the 25th season premiere, which the $100K was also picked.)

Man, the bonus round results were devistating. It would have been awfully nice if they could have given away the $100,000. Too bad it didn't work out. That breaks my heart.
