Heath Ledger filming The Dark Knight (Pt.1)

Behind the scenes. July 13th, 2007. My friends and I accidentally caught some of the first glimpses of Heath Ledger as The Joker. Look closely, he's the one sitting down (for safety reasons) as the semi truck resets to go back on Lower Wacker for another take. I slid my camera out of my pocket just enough to capture this and not let the crew notice. Later we became such good friends with the crew that we felt it'd be wrong to post this footage until the movie came out. Our experiences with the filming of The Dark Knight came to a head when we met Christopher Nolan outside Twin Anchors Bar in Chicago (where a Harvey Dent/Two Face scene was shot) and got him to autograph my Batman Begins DVD.
